Review: Illamasqua's sculpting palette.

Hello, darls!

اسلام عليكم

Hope you guys are doing great!

So, today i'll be reviewing my currently utter favourite Illamasqua's Sculpting palette.
I have tried quite a few palettes/ individual shadows for contouring and sculpting earlier, but none crept into becoming my absolute favourite so far mainly because of a disbalance of pigmentation.

Now, just give you a slight idea of what purpose  sculpting actually serves, Contouring/ sculpting is meant to define and sharpen up your facial  features and highlight the highest points of your face to make them look more striking, whereas by  using the wrong shadows you may end up with a rather burnt/ bruised look.Lol.

I was actually looking for a balanced combination of balanced lighter-deeper tones, and this Illamasqua's palette had it all!
I recently got to try and review Illamasqua's sculpting palette which consisted of 6 versatile shades meant for sculpting and highlighting.

So, there's this wise combination of shadows like ash taupe, deep coffee, matte light peach , soft brown and champagne shimmer for highlighting.

You guys, this classic palette is exceptionally versatile because not only you can use the shadows for sculpting/ highlighting, but you may also use them for creating various eyelooks such as bombshell/neutral smoky to the classic crease cut eye looks easily.
Now, the reason's why this palette is superly versatile is because it's consistent of neutral shades which make great transitional shades as well for blending or smoking out deeper toned shadows.

Talking about the texture of the shadows, they're very well formulated with a beautiful smooth texture that adheres and sets easily on the face and is long lasting.

Below are the swatches of the shades from R-L.
Now, talking about the deeper toned shadows, i mix and blend all 3 of these to create a harmonous sculpting shade , and the sculpt/contour looks absolutely stunning.
These shadows are pretty buildable , so you may always build up the pigmentation based on the look you're going for , from light everyday natural looking sculpt to a rather dramatic contouring.
There's this more orange toned shadow which can be used in multiple ways as a blusher , bronzer for a soft sunkissed glow or a transitional shade for sculpting your eyes.

The champage shimmer shadow is to be used on the highest points of your cheeks, considering it has tiny golden sparkles in it which may be quite apparent when you look closely , i won't really use it for everyday highlighting. But, the pigmentation is beautiful and it can also be used on your eyelids as a  base colour or on the inner corners of your eyes  and that will def make your eyes pop and the whole look will stand out even more. Or, if you're going for heavy strobing, you may want to consider this shadow for a sparkly and prominent effect.

And, now, this matte soft peach shadow happens to be my most favourite of all!
I absolutely love the matte yet creamy texture of this particular shadow.
It's super pigmented and brightens the undereye area or the brow bone area up a great deal! I love the soft yellow Vanilla toned pigmentation of this shadow as it sits perfectly on the area where it's applied and goes very well with the rest of the shades.

This palette turned out to be an all rounder for me and def crept into becoming my absolute favourite in a short span of time  as it's very handy with a built in mirror and since  i can easily use it in a multiple ways from sculpting / highlighting to creating neutral bombshell or smoky eye looks :D
Honestly,Illamasqua products are a MUST try in a very fine sense of the word! Great quality products delivered with an impressive packaging and definitely worth your money! MashaAllah.

Hope you enjoyed the detailed review! I've got more amazing  Illamasqua's makeup related  individual posts coming up in sha Allah , so, stay hooked! :D

Review: Bourjois Paris Air Mat Foundation.

Hello, beauts! Assalamalaikum. Hope you guys had a wonderful eid break. Today's review is going to be about the newly released Air Mat foundation from Bourjois Paris. I used this foundation several times inorder to come up with a detailed review and conclusion, and i really loved it in terms of coverage, hold, texture and hydration. One of the most alluring features of this foundation is that it has a fresh mattifying effect without dying out face, and it also provides a good 24 hour hold without wearing out, so it saves the trouble of product build up on your face by avoiding re-application. The foundation's light weight texture almost feels like BB cream but it gives the coverage of a foundation. It will even out your complexion with a little amount and leave your skin feeling hydrated. The coverage of this foundation is medium to buildable. I really din't feel like the need to apply a colour corrector or concealer because the foundation itself did a pretty good ...

Review : Bourjous Paris's Volume Glamour Max Definition mascara.

Hola , beauties! Today , i am reviewing my first ever mascara from Bourjois Paris. It's the Volume Glamour Max Definition mascara in the shade 51 black. Recently , i 've tried quite a lot of mascaras , but this one is definitely very distinct from the rest as it gives me like  REALLY thick, dense and intense lashes in a very fine sense of the word! Considering the rich and jet black formula , it gives me very volumized , dark lashes woth a luminious shine. As for the volume , it does the job quite well! The closely packed bristles of the mascara wand elongate the eyelashes evenly , and gives me really dramatic looking intense and fuller lashes. The texture is very creamy, smooth, easy to apply, and has a soft floral smell, definitely a plus point! Also , it gives a stronger and longer hold to the lashes , keeping them defined for a longer time. If you feel the formula is too thick , you may keep the mascara bottle in a glass of warm waterb, and it wi...
